Troubleshooting - EQ-SIRRCV

My SiriusXM radio does not power on.
The power adapter is not properly connected to the docking cradle, or not plugged into a live wall outlet. (163)
My SiriusXM radio displays "Check Antenna Connection".
The antenna is not properly connected to the docking cradle. Check the connections between the antenna cable adapter and the docking cradle, the antenna cable adapter and the antenna cable, and the antenna cable with the antenna. Check for crimps or damage to the antenna cable. If everything appears correct, the radio, antenna cable adapter, antenna cable or antenna could be defective. You may verify that the radio is functioning correctly by testing for 5VDC output from the antenna connection on the docking cradle. You can verify that the antenna cable adapter and/or antenna cable are good using an ohmmeter. A good cable will produce a reading of 0-2 ohms. (164)
My SiriusXM radio displays "Acquiring Signal".
The radio is detecting that an antenna is connected, but the signal is insufficient for operation. Check positioning of antenna, and for crimps or damage to the antenna cable. (165)
My SiriusXM radio displays "Invalid Channel".
You have attempted to tune to a channel that you have not subscribed to. SiriusXM Music for Business subscriptions include only the music channels from the Sirius channel lineup. (166)
My SiriusXM radio displays "Firmware Updating".
The radio is being updated over the air with the latest software. Wait until the update is done. (167)
My SiriusXM radio does not display song title and/or artist name.
The information may not be available or updates may be in progress. (168)
My SiriusXM is connected to my sound system, but I hear no music.
Make sure the radio is powered on and display indicates that a channel is playing. Check output volume of radio. Check connections between the docking cradle, audio cables/adapters and the PA amplifier. (169)
My SiriusXM is connected to my sound system, but the audio is scratchy or intermittent.
Check connections between the docking cradle, audio cables/adapters and the PA amplifier. (171)
My SiriusXM is connected to my sound system, but the audio is distorted.
The radio’s audio output level may be overloading the input of the PA amplifier. Reduce output level of radio. (172)
My SiriusXM is connected to my sound system, but the audio is too low even with my amplifier turned up.
In addition to a master output volume control, most commercial amplifiers have input level controls for each input. Check to make sure both are turned up. If this does not correct the problem, the SiriusXM radio’s audio output level may be insufficient for the PA amplifier. Increase output level of radio. (173)
The signal on my SiriusXM radio goes in and out throughout the day.
Antenna may be improperly positioned. Consult antenna manual for proper positioning. Also ensure that antenna is not positioned in close proximity to high-voltage electrical devices, such as trasformers or air conditioning/refrigeration equipment, and that antenna cable is not run adjacent to high-voltage wiring. High-voltage electricity can interfere with the high-frequency signal used by SiriusXM. (174)
The audio from my SiriusXM has a hum.
Check the output using the provided earphones. It is normal for the volume in the earphones to be low, but you should be able to distinguish if the hum is present. If it is, the radio is defective. If no hum is present, the problem is with the audio cable or sound system. (175)
